It's not okay to say LAME
Maybe you didn't know LAME is used to describe a person or animal with a disability.
For centuries, when an animal was lame it was put down
either in mercy or to save money.
People who were lame were put away or forced to beg to survive.
That word has a connotation as negative as gay
or retarded
.
